TRAINING PROGRAMS TO FIT
"YOUR NEEDS"

We have a variety of training programs available, from basic puppy obedience to advanced hunt training. At Copper Creek, we will help you choose the program that best suits your training needs.  We will customize it to accomplish the behaviors and skills you desire in your puppy or dog. Puppies purchased from Copper Creek come with a $100 certificate that can be applied to the training program you choose for your puppy.



 

At Copper Creek, basic family living and socialization skills begin as soon as a puppy is born. We are laying the foundation for your dog's every day living skills. Our puppies are handled daily, subjected to a vast variety of noises, as well as different feels and textures under their feet and bodies. Nails are trimmed every 4 or 5 days. and the puppies are brushed so they become accustomed to being submissive to humans.  These are the activities that get your puppy ready to be a good citizen and family companion.

Doug is in charge of training at Copper Creek Kennels, and personalizes the training program to fit the needs of each individual dog.  Each trainee receives ONE ON ONE instruction every day while in the program. We specialize in gun dog training.  We also run many dogs for our clients in AKC hunt tests, in which we have achieved several Master, Senior, and Junior AKC titled level of qualifications.



   We are proud of the successful accomplishments of our personal dogs Doug has trained, which are part of our
 breeding program. You can find more information on each individual dog's level of achievement on the

We enjoy attending the hunt tests, watching the dogs demonstrate their skills, and making new friends. It's fascinating to watch well-trained dogs demonstrate their skills. Even in water, Gator does an excellent job of following signals and retrieving the bird.
