COPPER CREEK KENNEL
Memorial
In Loving Memory

DONNIE'S BLACK WATER CHAMPION MH
What a privilege and honor it was to have had the
opportunity to know and work with this magnificent dog.
With great sadness we would like to say we lost our great hunter, Champ, to a tragic untimely accident. Champ was the first dog that I took to the Master Hunter level and without a doubt the best hunting dog Copper Creek Kennel has had to date. Champ, with no problem, could do 250 yard blind and multiple retrieves and quarter a field like no other. He was a friend, a companion, and best buddy at hunt tests and in the field. He helped train several dogs at our kennel with his skills and desire. When we took Champ to run in a hunt test with other dogs and he was last or waiting for his turn, look out ! ! ! At the sound of gunfire and duck calls, Champ would do anything to get out of his crate and get to the action, but when at home he was surely a part of the family. He was always kind and loving and would sit beside you and watch TV like your best bud. He will be missed greatly, but never forgotten. He will live on in our hearts and in our minds always.
"When running hunt tests, hunting, training, or sitting in the house, you will always be in our memories, Champ.
We'll love you and miss you always."
"We truly have lost one of our best friends."
Follow the fantastic journey through Champs
short, but very exciting life below.
Two weeks after earning his Senior Hunter title, Champ started the Master Hunter testing. With very impressive showings, he has passed the five required tests and is now a
TITLED MASTER HUNTER
"CHAMP'S" new hunting companion, Donnie, says this is the smartest puppy he has ever worked with.

Champ is a big boy now, and he has achieved a higher level of advanced hunter training.
He was an excellent hunting companion at only 10 months old, and now he is just awesome.

Donnie had a chance to show off Champ and his retrieving skills on a dove hunting trip with friends. Champ was more than happy to retrieve everyone's doves. Now Donnie is sure to always have lots of hunting buddies.
Champ is doing so well with his training and hunt tests that he
deserves his own camo gear.
We couldn't be more proud. At a hunt test or in the field, Champ is a top performer.
We really consider him 'ONE OF THE GUYS".
We truly have lost one of our "Best Friends".
